The name Currents comes from the idea that every child moves at their own pace, in their own direction, just like a fish swimming in the water. You know that saying about the fish? “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Maybe Einstein said it, maybe he did not, but what is for certain is that the words ring true. Every child is on their own current, and our job is to support them in swimming confidently along their own path.
